CEO Stephen Gregory says the exchange aims to regain lost U.S. market share through reduced fees and expanded regulated products.
Binance.US is rebuilding its U.S. market presence, aiming to return to a 20% share of the domestic crypto exchange market. CEO Stephen Gregory attributed past struggles to a two-year regulatory slowdown but said the platform is now focused on growth with ultra-low fees and deeper liquidity.
The exchange previously held roughly 20% of the U.S. market and is targeting a return to that level. Binance.US has slashed fees to near-zero, offering 0% maker fees and 2-basis-point taker fees, while expanding regulated products and liquidity incentives.
Gregory said the exchange is operating as a separate U.S.-only entity with its own governance, though it shares branding with the global Binance platform. The company is also generating revenue through custody services alongside trading.
