Binance has launched access to over 8,000 US stocks and ETFs for non-US customers, enabling fractional share purchases starting at $5 with no commission. Transactions can be settled using stablecoins like USDC or USDT, or Binance’s BNB token, as the exchange positions itself as a multi-asset financial platform.

The move aligns with a broader trend of crypto exchanges integrating traditional equity markets. Competitors like OKX and Coinbase have also expanded into stock trading, while asset managers like BlackRock issue blockchain-based traditional assets. Binance’s offering targets overseas investors facing high costs or barriers to US equities.

Trades will be facilitated by broker-dealer Nest Trading, with custody and corporate actions handled by Alpaca. The service reflects Binance’s push to merge crypto and traditional finance rails, though regulatory scrutiny remains a key challenge for such hybrid models.
