According to the bank, signs of investor fatigue are beginning to emerge, particularly as support from momentum-driven traders and commodity trading advisors (CTAs), which have played a significant role in the advance, may be nearing its limits after such an extended move. Equity Issuance Could Drain Market Liquidity Strategists led by Emmanuel Cau noted that a series of sizeable technology-sector initial public offerings and capital raisings are expected to come to market in the coming weeks.
These transactions could absorb liquidity that has helped fuel the recent rally.
