Barclays raised its EQIX target citing stronger-than-expected growth from hyperscale and enterprise AI demand.
Barclays increased its price target for Equinix (NASDAQ:EQIX) to $1,130 from $1,109 while maintaining an Equal Weight rating. The firm cited higher growth expectations driven by ongoing hyperscale demand and accelerating enterprise AI adoption across the communications infrastructure REIT sector.
The adjustment follows a prior upgrade by Citi, which raised its EQIX target to $1,260 from $1,240 on June 29. Analysts highlighted Equinix’s exposure to cloud and AI workload growth, reinforcing multi-year expansion prospects. The company recently expanded partnerships with Cisco and Nvidia to deploy AI infrastructure globally.
Equinix also launched a Programmable AI Technology Hub Lab with Presidio, allowing customers to test AI setups in live data center environments before full-scale deployment.
