Baird raised Mastercard’s price target citing revenue acceleration and better-than-expected margins in upcoming quarters.
Baird increased its price target for Mastercard (MA) to $680 from $660 while maintaining an Outperform rating. The firm anticipates revenue growth acceleration due to easing comparisons and the anniversary of impacts from Capital One and Discover.
Analysts expect healthy yields and stronger margins to offset FX volatility and higher interest costs from new debt. Q2 revenue and earnings per share are projected to exceed Street estimates, with further growth acceleration in H2 2026.
Mastercard also announced a partnership with VEON to expand financial services in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, and Uzbekistan.
