The Australian Dollar (AUD) retreated to around 0.6950 against the USD in Asian trading on Tuesday, reversing two days of gains. The decline follows a drop in ANZ–Indeed job advertisements for June, suggesting a softening labor market amid elevated borrowing costs.

Job ads fell for the second consecutive month, reinforcing concerns about economic momentum. Prior to this, the AUD had shown resilience, supported by expectations of steady Reserve Bank of Australia policy. The latest data contrasts with stronger prints earlier in the year.

Market reaction was muted but tilted bearish, with traders assessing the implications for future RBA decisions. The currency pair remained near session lows as risk sentiment waned.
