Assured Guaranty’s first-half 2026 new business production surged 48% year-over-year to $152 million, driving record valuation metrics.
Assured Guaranty (NYSE:AGO) reported a record first half of 2026, with new business production reaching $152 million in present value, up from $103 million a year earlier. Shareholders’ equity, adjusted operating equity, and book value per share also hit all-time highs at quarter-end.
The company’s US public finance segment generated $106 million in production value, surpassing the entire company’s first-half 2025 total. Global structured finance production more than doubled to $35 million, supported by fund finance deals. Adjusted operating income rose 22% year-over-year to $55 million, or $1.23 per share.
Assured Guaranty expanded its international footprint with deals in the UK, Spain, and France, aligning with its push into Europe and Asia Pacific. The company’s newer annuity reinsurance platform remains on track to meet production and income targets.
