Aspen Standard Wealth has acquired Denver Private Wealth Management (Denver PWM), a Denver-based wealth advisory business with about $550m in client assets.

Financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed

Set up in 2014, Denver PWM advises affluent families, company owners, and senior executives. Its services include investment management, retirement planning, tax-efficient planning, and legacy planning. Denver PWM managing partner Darin Snow said: “By joining the Aspen platform, we will be able to further expand the robust suite of services available to our clients and extend our legacy for decades to come. “This is also a wonderful opportunity for our team to build their careers with a broader team of incredibly talented industry professionals.” Aspen said its model for working with RIAs centres on long-term alignment, maintaining each partner firm’s identity, supporting leadership, and aiding sustainable growth.

Denver PWM provides investment advisory services through Vista Private Wealth Partners, a SEC registered investment advisor. FP Transitions was the financial advisor to Denver PWM in the deal. Aspen CEO Aly Kassim-Lakha said: “We are honoured to welcome Denver PWM to the Aspen platform.
