Arista Networks (ANET) unveiled its 7060XE7 Series, a portfolio of 1.6-terabit networking platforms designed for AI data centers. The systems aim to address bottlenecks in data movement between chips, servers, and storage, which increasingly constrain AI infrastructure performance.

The launch builds on Arista’s Etherlink architecture, supporting both scale-out and scale-up AI networks. The platforms target higher bandwidth, power density, and thermal demands of large accelerator clusters, compatible with air-cooled, liquid-cooled, and hybrid environments.

Arista’s software ecosystem, including its Extensible Operating System and automation tools, reinforces customer switching costs. The company’s installed base and consistent configurations across expanding data-center fleets further strengthen its market position.
