The company targets high-grade extensions and new discoveries at Yundamindra and Kookynie following recent technical studies.
Arika Resources has mobilised equipment for a 20,000m-plus drilling campaign at its Yundamindra and Kookynie gold projects in Western Australia. Drilling is set to begin in the coming weeks, focusing initially on the Cosmopolitan, Altona, and Ithaca prospects at Kookynie, identified for high-grade extensions and new opportunities.
The campaign follows 14,752m of drilling completed earlier this year and aims to support a maiden mineral resource estimate. Recent soil sampling and geological studies have expanded drill targets, with preliminary metallurgical testing underway to assess gold recovery.
Initial efforts will prioritise high-priority prospects at both projects, including Pennyweight Point and Landed at Last at Yundamindra. Results from soil geochemistry surveys at Emerald City are expected to refine future drill targets.
