US-based accounting and advisory firm Aprio has established Aprio Ventures, a $300m investment program targeting early-stage technology companies. The initiative aims to identify and support AI, automation, and enterprise software solutions that align with Aprio’s service enhancements and client needs.

Since 2019, Aprio has invested in nearly 20 companies, focusing on scaling technologies within the professional services sector. The new venture arm formalizes this strategy, providing strategic and technical support to portfolio firms while integrating their solutions into Aprio’s operations.

Aprio CEO Richard Kopelman stated the program is designed to future-proof the firm by embedding emerging technologies. The venture will be led by Kyle Kling, who will source opportunities and build founder relationships.
