Anthropic is negotiating to acquire Decart, an Israeli AI startup, for approximately $6 billion. The deal remains unfinalized and could still collapse, sources said.

Decart, founded in 2023, specializes in AI models that enhance chip efficiency and reduce training costs. The company raised $300 million in May at a $4 billion valuation, up from $3.1 billion in August 2025.

If completed, the acquisition would be Anthropic’s fifth this year and its largest to date. Decart’s technology could bolster Anthropic’s infrastructure amid rising demand for AI capabilities.
