Anthropic reports 1.2 million sessions using its agentic AI for tasks like business operations and document drafting.
Anthropic launched updated versions of its Claude Cowork AI platform for smartphones and web, enabling offline task execution. The move aims to broaden accessibility ahead of a planned initial public offering later this year.
The company shared usage data from 1.2 million anonymized sessions, showing 33.4% of users employed Cowork for business processes, while 16.4% used it for drafting documents and proposals. Previously, the tool required devices to remain online to complete tasks.
Anthropic framed these applications as addressing ‘the work around the work,’ or administrative tasks supporting core job functions.
