AMD stock rose over 3% after Rosenblatt and UBS lifted price targets to $655 and $700, respectively. The gains follow Microsoft’s announcement that it will use AMD’s upcoming Helios rackscale AI platform for Azure workloads, signaling growing demand for AMD’s AI infrastructure.

Rosenblatt increased its target from $490, while UBS adjusted its estimate from $670. Analysts maintain an 82.4% Buy rating on the stock, with the remainder rated Hold. The Helios platform, set to ship later this year, integrates AMD’s MI455X GPU, Epyc Venice CPU, and Pensando DPU to compete with Nvidia’s Grace Blackwell and Vera Rubin systems.

Helios features 72 interconnected GPUs and supports large-scale AI clusters, positioning AMD against Nvidia’s dominance in AI computing. The Microsoft deal marks a key milestone ahead of AMD’s Advancing AI conference, where CEO Lisa Su is expected to outline the company’s product roadmap.
