The accreditation allows Amcor’s Asia Pacific Innovation Center to issue test results recognized in 116 countries, aiding market entry and compliance.
Amcor’s Asia Pacific Innovation Center (APIC) laboratory in China has received accreditation from the China National Accreditation Service (CNAS), aligning its testing and calibration standards with international benchmarks. The approval follows an 18- to 24-month assessment period and confirms the lab’s technical and quality management capabilities.
The accreditation enables the APIC lab to produce test results accepted in 116 countries, streamlining approval processes for customers and supporting market expansion. It also enhances Amcor’s ability to meet domestic regulatory demands while building expertise applicable to other emerging markets.
With the accreditation, the lab can expedite compliance routes, develop transferable certification methods, and provide data-driven insights for packaging performance and supply chain resilience. The move aligns with Amcor’s strategy to strengthen its presence in high-growth markets like China.
