Alvopetro Q2 Sales Volumes Dip as Brazil Drilling Ramps Up

Alvopetro Energy Ltd reported June sales volumes of 2,990 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd), a decline from the 3,067 boepd average in Q2 2026. Natural gas sales in Brazil averaged 16.0 million cubic feet per day (MMcfpd), down from 16.27 MMcfpd in May, while condensate and oil sales also softened.

The company’s Q2 average sales volumes fell to 3,067 boepd from 3,128 boepd in Q1. Brazilian sales dropped to 2,834 boepd in June from 2,895 boepd in May, and Canadian oil sales declined to 156 barrels per day from 181 barrels per day.

Alvopetro completed drilling the 183-D1 well at its Murucututu field, encountering 47.7 metres of potential natural gas pay. Production is expected to begin in early August as the company accelerates its drilling schedule.
