Airbnb reported first-quarter revenue of $2.7 billion, an 18% year-over-year increase, surpassing the $2.62 billion consensus estimate. Gross booking value climbed 19% to $29.2 billion, exceeding the $27.82 billion forecast.

Net income reached $160 million, or 26 cents per share, below the 29-cent estimate, though up from $154 million a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA rose 24% to $519 million, clearing the $485 million expectation.

The company raised its full-year revenue outlook to a “low to mid teens” growth range, up from a prior 12% target. Q2 revenue guidance of $3.54 billion to $3.60 billion also topped the $3.46 billion consensus.
