Shares of sensor supplier VPG jump 269% after Agility Robotics’ public debut, signaling strong investor interest in humanoid robotics.
Agility Robotics completed its public debut via a merger with SPAC Churchill Capital Corp XI, triggering a rally in supply-chain stocks. Vishay Precision Group (VPG) surged 269% after securing humanoid robot orders, while Ouster (OUST) gained 150% year-to-date, rising 13.43% on June 30 alone.
Teradyne, which tests AI chips and owns Universal Robots, reported 70% of Q1 revenue tied to AI. Symbotic, despite a $22.7 billion contracted backlog and Walmart backing, fell 29% year-to-date, trading below its 200-day moving average.
The IPO highlights growing capital flows into physical AI, with sensor and component suppliers positioned for scaling production of humanoid robots.
