Abu Dhabi National Oil Company will adopt Platts Dubai prompt-month pricing for all crude grades, replacing the two-month-ahead IFAD Murban futures methodology.

ADNOC will transition all Abu Dhabi crude grades to a prompt-month pricing model based on the Platts Dubai benchmark starting November 1, 2026. The change replaces the current two-month-ahead pricing system tied to ICE Futures Abu Dhabi Murban futures, affecting grades like Murban, Das, Upper Zakum, and Umm Lulu.

Previously, ADNOC priced cargoes using IFAD Murban futures, a methodology distinct from other major Middle Eastern producers. The shift aligns ADNOC more closely with regional peers, which predominantly use Platts Dubai for pricing.

The move is expected to enhance price transparency and reflect real-time market conditions for Abu Dhabi crude exports.
