Sapiens International has secured investment from a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), making the investor a significant minority shareholder. The financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed.
The insurtech, taken private last year by Advent in a $2.5bn deal, previously traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and Nasdaq. Its new London headquarters will house both its global operations and an AI Customer Experience Lab, aimed at collaborating with insurers on AI-driven solutions.
Sapiens supplies core systems to over 600 insurers worldwide, with its agentic platforms designed to automate underwriting, claims, and policy management. The London site is expected to support recruitment of AI specialists as the company expands its forward deployment group.
