Finnish retailer Kesko reports stronger demand across grocery, building, and car trade divisions for July 2026.
Kesko’s July sales rose 5.9% year-on-year to €1.11bn, driven by growth in grocery, building and technical, and car trade divisions. Comparable sales increased 5.4%, reflecting stronger consumer demand across key markets.
Grocery trade sales reached €584.6m, up 3.9%, while building and technical trade sales climbed 7.4% to €398.8m. Car trade sales surged 10.5% to €133.7m. January-July sales totaled €7.67bn, a 6.5% increase.
The company cited broad-based gains, with comparable sales rising in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Poland. Growth was strongest in technical trade and new car sales.
