Stellantis reports Q2 net profit of 293 million euros, reversing a 1.87 billion euro loss, as North American market share rises to 7.4%.
Stellantis posted a Q2 net profit of 293 million euros, reversing a 1.87 billion euro loss from a year earlier. Adjusted operating income surged to 773 million euros, more than triple the prior-year figure, driven by strong performance in North America, where market share climbed to 7.4% from 7.0%.
The automaker’s Ram trucks led the rebound, with sales rising 6% year-over-year, marking the fourth consecutive quarter of growth. High-margin SRT models, including the $102,590 Ram 1500 TRX, are expected to bolster profitability further, with eleven new SRT variants planned across Ram, Jeep, and Dodge.
However, the potential sale of its Brampton, Ontario plant, linked to U.S. tariffs on Canadian goods, introduces uncertainty. The move could disrupt labor relations and supply chains in a key market for Stellantis.
