The deal extends an existing partnership and addresses power constraints faced by AI hardware producers, who require rapid, onsite energy solutions due to grid interconnection delays.
AI data centers and related manufacturing facilities are driving unprecedented demand for power, creating bottlenecks in traditional energy supply. Bloom’s fuel cell technology offers a deployable alternative, bypassing permitting and grid limitations. The company previously installed a microgrid at MiTAC’s San Jose facility, reinforcing its position in the AI power market.
