S&P and Nasdaq Indices Close at New Record Levels

Broad participation was also evident with the small-cap Russell 2000 posting a solid advance. Both are trading lower in after hours trading after reporting earnings.

AMD reported a revenue and EPS beat with EPS coming in at $1.66 versus $1.62 on revenues of $11.5 million versus $11.31 billion expected. It wasn’t good enough and the stock is trading down around 5.3% in after-hours trading. Palantir led the gains after earnings and forward guidance
