Gold sales totaled 37,439 ounces during the period. Year to date, G Mining Ventures has produced 68,691 ounces of gold and sold 71,215 ounces. The company maintained its 2026 production guidance of 160,000 to 190,000 ounces of gold, with output expected to be weighted toward the second half of the year as mining progresses into higher-grade Phase 2 mineralization. “Second quarter operational results tracked broadly to plan, with results reflecting the sequencing of lower-grade material as mining activities focused on waste stripping and pit advancement,” G Mining CEO Louis-Pierre Gignac said. “This work supports access to higher-grade Phase 2 mineralization and positions the operation for a meaningful increase in grade and production in the second half of 2026, in line with our guidance.” The Tocantinzinho mine achieved record quarterly mining volumes of 6.3 million tonnes in the second quarter, a 15% increase from the first quarter.
Ore mined totaled 1.67 million tonnes, while waste mined reached 4.65 million tonnes, resulting in a strip ratio of 2.78. The processing plant treated 1.01 million tonnes of ore during the quarter at an average throughput rate of 11,121 tonnes per day. Average gold grade processed was 1.23 grams per tonne, while gold recovery averaged 91.9%.
