A $2,200 price target for Micron implies a $2.5 trillion valuation, positioning it ahead of Broadcom and TSMC in U.S. rankings.

A Melius Research analyst raised Micron Technology’s (MU) price target to $2,200, suggesting a $2.5 trillion market valuation. This would rank Micron sixth among U.S. public companies, surpassing Broadcom (AVGO) and Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM).

The target was lifted three times in two months, from $700 on April 27, 2026, to $1,100 on May 18, and now $2,200 on June 25. The upgrades reflect rising confidence in Micron’s high-bandwidth memory (HBM) business, a key component for AI systems.

The analyst’s forecast hinges on sustained demand for HBM, which feeds data to AI chips at high speeds. Market reaction to the revised target remains uncertain as investors assess the durability of the AI-driven rally.
