The deal with Frazier Healthcare Partners allows ResMed to reallocate capital toward high-growth sleep and breathing health segments.
ResMed has agreed to divest its MatrixCare software business for $490m in cash to private equity firm Frazier Healthcare Partners. The sale aligns with ResMed’s 2030 strategy, prioritizing sleep health, breathing health, and connected home-based care solutions.
MatrixCare, acquired in 2018, provides software for skilled nursing, senior living, and hospice providers. The transaction excludes ResMed’s other software units, Brightree and MEDIFOX DAN, and is expected to close in Q1 of fiscal 2027.
The company stated the divestiture will enhance capital allocation toward innovation and operational scale in its core sleep and respiratory care markets. ResMed’s primary products include its AirSense CPAP machines and AirFit masks.
