Joby Aviation forms joint venture with Toyota to manufacture S4 aircraft
Joby Aviation’s subsidiary, Joby Aero, has entered into a stockholders agreement with Toyota Motor Corporation to form a joint venture.
The joint venture aims to manufacture Joby Aviation’s S4 electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.
The partnership is expected to leverage Toyota’s manufacturing expertise to support the production of the S4 aircraft.
