Deal includes 288 megawatts of IT capacity in northern Virginia, paid in cash and stock by Digital Realty.
Digital Realty will purchase Blackstone-affiliated funds’ stakes in three fully leased data centers for approximately $3.5 billion. The transaction combines cash and stock and targets assets in northern Virginia’s key data center market.
The three facilities offer a combined 288 megawatts of IT capacity. Blackstone’s funds had previously acquired the assets as part of a broader portfolio strategy in high-demand digital infrastructure.
No immediate market reaction was disclosed in the announcement.
