US equities finished near session highs, with the Dow hitting a new record and the S&P 500 reclaiming its 100-hour moving average.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at a record 52,188.21, up 307.03 points or 0.59%, leading major US indices higher. The S&P 500 gained 1.17% to 7,440.40, surpassing its 100-hour moving average but remaining below the 200-hour level. The Nasdaq Composite rose 2.07% to 25,820.14, nearing its 100-hour moving average resistance.

The Russell 2000 also notched a record close, edging up 0.01% to 3,010.41. While the Dow and Russell extended their record streaks, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq face technical hurdles, including nearby moving averages that could influence momentum in the near term.

The mixed technical outlook leaves tomorrow’s session pivotal for determining whether the rally can sustain its upward trajectory or faces resistance.
