Curis initiates enrollment for a Phase II trial combining emavusertib and zanubrutinib in chronic lymphocytic leukemia patients.
Curis has begun enrollment at 11 clinical sites for its Phase II TakeAim CLL trial, evaluating the oral inhibitor emavusertib alongside zanubrutinib. The trial targets patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and aims to assess the dual inhibition of NF-kB, a key driver in CLL pathology.
Dosing of the first five patients is expected by the end of July 2026, with study data anticipated in December 2026. Participants must be in partial response, test positive for measurable residual disease, and have been on zanubrutinib for at least 12 months.
Curis also secured stockholder approval for a reverse stock split at a ratio between 1-for-5 and 1-for-25 to address NASDAQ listing requirements.
