American Superconductor Corporation (NASDAQ:AMSC) posted fourth-quarter revenue of $86.4 million, up from $66.7 million a year earlier, as demand for grid and wind solutions strengthened. Full-year revenue rose 34% to $299.2 million.
The company attributed growth to higher Grid and Wind segment revenue and contributions from its Comtrafo acquisition. Fourth-quarter orders neared $100 million, while the 12-month backlog expanded nearly 40% to $280 million.
Management guided for June-quarter revenue above $85 million, signaling continued momentum in energy infrastructure and data-center markets.
