HZ Green Pulp, a Malaysia-based licensee of PulPac’s dry-moulded fibre (DMF) technology, has partnered with Hotpack Global to broaden the adoption of fibre-based foodservice packaging. The collaboration combines HZ’s DMF manufacturing capabilities with Hotpack’s established distribution channels in the foodservice sector.

The joint venture, HZP Eco Packaging, will initially focus on introducing HZ’s DMF coffee lid alongside Hotpack’s existing paper cup offerings. The deal leverages Hotpack’s customer network to accelerate market penetration for fibre-based alternatives, with potential for additional DMF product pairings in the future.

HZ Green Pulp CEO Donald Yap stated the partnership strengthens the company’s ability to deliver scalable, fibre-based solutions to foodservice buyers. The arrangement also aligns with broader industry shifts toward sustainable packaging materials.
