Bitcoin plunged nearly 6% to $67,287 on October 6, its lowest level since April, as macroeconomic uncertainty and institutional selling weighed on the market. The drop marks a sharp reversal from its opening price of $71,305, with the session low hitting $66,948 before a slight recovery.

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded their worst monthly outflow of 2026 in May, with $2.43 billion withdrawn, erasing April’s $1.97 billion inflow. The broader crypto market has struggled alongside Bitcoin, pressured by sticky inflation, a hawkish Fed, and geopolitical tensions.

Traders on prediction platform Myriad now see a 52.6% chance Bitcoin will fall to $55,000 before recovering to $84,000, a stark shift from mid-May when the $84K bull case held an 80% probability.
