Uranium Energy Corp (NYSEAMERICAN:UEC) has commenced production at its Burke Hollow project in Texas, the first new U.S. in-situ recovery (ISR) uranium mine in over a decade. The company received regulatory approval for the project, which is now the newest ISR uranium mine globally.

The launch follows recent capacity expansions at Christensen Ranch in Wyoming, where UEC commissioned additional header houses to increase wellfield output. These developments are expected to significantly boost the company’s domestic uranium production, reinforcing its role as a key U.S. supplier.

UEC operates a vertically integrated model across the nuclear fuel cycle, positioning itself to meet growing demand for nuclear energy. The company’s expansion aligns with broader industry efforts to strengthen domestic uranium supply chains.
