Metallurgical tests on 1911 Gold’s Manitoba projects show high gold recoveries, bolstering potential operational efficiency.
1911 Gold Corp reported gold recoveries of 96.3% from preliminary testing at its Ogama-Rockland Gold Project and 93.7% at its True North Gold Project in Manitoba. The True North sample, taken from the L10 Zone, had a head grade of 1.82 grams per tonne gold, with 51% recovered via gravity concentration and 44.5% through flotation.
The company noted a Bond ball mill work index of 14.1 kWh/t for True North material, indicating medium hardness. Environmental tests showed no acid generation or harmful metal leaching risks. CEO Shaun Heinrichs highlighted moderate reagent use and opportunities to improve flotation and leach efficiencies.
Results suggest strong potential for cost-effective gold extraction, though further test work and trade-off studies are planned.
