Dollar Tree reported second-quarter sales of $4.98 billion, a 7.0% increase from the prior year. The gain was supported by a 3.7% rise in comparable store sales, fueled by a 3.3% increase in average ticket size and a 0.4% uptick in customer traffic.
In the same period last year, Dollar Tree posted sales of $4.66 billion, with comparable store sales growth of 6.7%. The company attributed the latest results to improved consumer demand and tariff refunds, which helped offset cost pressures.
Shares of Dollar Tree showed modest movement in after-hours trading following the release.
