Nvidia’s stronger-than-expected earnings and optimistic AI outlook sparked a rebound in equity futures, with the chipmaker’s shares rising 4.7% after-hours. The company reported revenue guidance of $108bn for the current quarter, above the $105.2bn estimate, and projected 70% growth for the next fiscal year starting January 2027.
The S&P 500 and Nasdaq futures climbed 0.48% and 0.83%, respectively, after a mixed session earlier. Salesforce and CrowdStrike also contributed to the tech rally, with CrowdStrike’s shares surging nearly 10% on positive results.
The after-hours gains followed a 1.59% decline in Nvidia’s shares during regular trading, reflecting broader market sentiment shifts tied to AI demand expectations.
