Cavalier Resources selects SSH Group as preferred contractor for a 12-month mining phase at its Western Australia gold project.
Cavalier Resources has named SSH Group as its preferred mining services contractor for the initial stage of the Crawford Gold Project in Western Australia. The 12-month contract will focus on the oxide pit outlined in Cavalier’s April 2026 pre-feasibility study, with operations set to begin following site preparation and final agreements.
The letter of intent covers active mining during the stage one period, with both companies aiming to finalize commercial terms and sign a binding heads of agreement. Cavalier’s technical director and interim CEO Daniel Tuffin stated the selection marks a key step toward production, citing SSH’s experience and collaborative approach.
Finalization depends on due diligence, pricing, funding, and definitive agreements. Site preparation is already underway, aligning with Cavalier’s execution timeline.
