Revolut has launched EURR, a euro-pegged stablecoin, for customers in Denmark, Poland, and Portugal. The token, issued by Bridge Building S.A., will be available on multiple blockchains and external wallets, with plans to expand across the European Economic Area later this year.

The move follows Revolut’s decision to withdraw Tether’s USDT from the EEA and Switzerland, converting remaining balances into customers’ base currencies after August 31. EURR is backed by euro reserves and complies with the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulations.

Revolut described EURR as the first step in a broader stablecoin strategy, with plans to introduce tokens denominated in other currencies through separate regulatory pathways.
