Gold production surged 51% year-over-year as the miner reported stronger Q2 earnings and sales.

West Red Lake Gold Mines Ltd. reported Q2 non-GAAP EPS of C$0.03 and revenue of C$49.04 million, up 17.4% from the same period last year. The increase was driven by higher gold production and sales.

Gold production reached 8,576 ounces, a 51% jump from Q1’s 5,667 ounces. Gold sales climbed 34% to 8,260 ounces, compared with 6,165 ounces in the prior quarter.

The results reflect improved operational performance amid stronger gold market conditions.
