Analyst raises year-end gold forecast to $5,000/oz from $4,600 as metal holds above $4,000 support.
Natixis increased its year-end gold price target to $5,000 per ounce from $4,600, citing rising U.S. debt fears and strong support above $4,000. The metal has climbed nearly 15% this month, extending its recent rally.
The revised forecast follows gold’s sustained gains after breaking key resistance levels. Earlier projections had set a lower target, but persistent macroeconomic uncertainties and debt concerns drove the upward adjustment.
Gold prices have remained resilient amid shifting monetary policy expectations and geopolitical risks, reinforcing bullish sentiment among analysts.
