Tata Consultancy Services will acquire Porsche’s MHP consulting unit for 320 million euros ($348 million) as part of a broader 1.25 billion euro ($1.46 billion) five-year collaboration. The agreement establishes an AI Mobility Centre of Excellence focused on automotive manufacturing, engineering, and operations.
MHP, employing 4,500 people, has served industries including automotive and aerospace for over 30 years. The unit will retain its brand and operate independently under TCS, continuing to support Porsche’s digital initiatives. The sale aligns with Porsche’s strategy to refocus on core automotive operations.
Porsche and TCS will maintain their existing partnership, with MHP providing ongoing consulting for the automaker’s AI and digital transformation projects.
