Fasset secures $68 million in Series C funding led by Japan’s SBI Group to expand stablecoin payments and digital banking in Malaysia.
Fasset, a stablecoin neobanking platform, raised $68 million in a Series C round led by Japan’s SBI Group, valuing the company at $1 billion. The funding follows a $51 million Series B in May, bringing total 2026 funding to $119 million.
SBI Group, which first invested in Fasset in May, plans to increase its stake through warrant exercises, aiming to make Fasset an equity-method affiliate. The companies will jointly launch a digital bank in Malaysia and distribute Fasset-issued tokens.
Proceeds will expand Own Network, Fasset’s infrastructure linking banks and payment providers across 100+ corridors, and boost AI systems for stablecoin settlement and cross-border banking.
