The biotech firm raises $150m in committed capital to advance its PAH and PH-ILD drug candidate through regulatory review by 2026.
Gossamer Bio has locked in up to $250m through a private placement, including $150m in committed funds. The capital will support the development and potential FDA approval of seralutinib, targeting pulmonary arterial hypertension and related lung disease indications.
The financing includes an initial $25m closing via pre-funded warrants at $0.14 per share, with an additional $125m contingent on FDA acceptance of a new drug application. The company plans to submit the NDA by September 2026 and expects proceeds to extend its runway until 2028.
Investors such as EcoR1 Capital and RA Capital Management are participating, with terms tied to regulatory milestones. Gossamer regained global rights to seralutinib earlier this year.
