Bitcoin traded above $77,600 on Monday, reflecting a 21% weekly increase as investors adopted a wait-and-see approach before Fed Chair Kevin Warsh’s first address at Jackson Hole. The cryptocurrency’s price hovered at $77,605, up 1.77%, while Ethereum rose 2.83% to $2,462.

The total market capitalization reached $2.72 trillion, with Bitcoin dominance at 57.3%. The Fear & Greed Index stood at 73, indicating greed. ETF inflows for Bitcoin and Ethereum hit a 10-month high, signaling renewed institutional interest.

Altcoins saw mixed performance, with small-cap tokens like Pons and PEPECOIN posting gains of 79.7% and 70.5%, respectively. Meanwhile, Term Labs suffered an $8.5 million governance exploit, highlighting ongoing security risks in decentralized finance.
