Bitcoin stabilized above $77,000 after reaching its highest level since mid-May, mirroring gold’s surge to 14-week highs. BTC rose nearly 6% on the day, while gold climbed 2.2% to $4,632 per ounce.

Both assets hit peaks last seen on May 15, driven by US government debt policies, including record deficit spending and a Treasury pledge to double debt buyback operations to $4 billion. Monthly gains stood at 13% for BTC and 16% for gold.

Analysts linked the rally to inflation concerns and Treasury policy shifts, with Polymarket odds of Bitcoin reaching $90,000 before 2027 at 48%.
