Stratasys posted a record $66.3 million in consumables revenue for Q2, underscoring its shift toward recurring manufacturing revenue. The figure highlights progress in production-grade adoption, though cash flow issues tempered investor optimism.

Aerospace and defense, the company’s largest segment, grew 17% year over year, driven by U.S. Air Force orders and structural demand for flightworthy parts. Stratasys Direct, its parts manufacturing unit, rose 12.1%, supported by defense contracts for drones and munitions. Two multiyear deals—12 Neo 800-plus systems for Quickparts and 12 F900 systems for FAW Group—bolstered growth.

Despite the record, management’s cash flow warning overshadowed the quarter’s strengths, leaving investors to weigh long-term potential against near-term financial realities.
