Standard Chartered has signaled its $100,000 year-end Bitcoin forecast may be too conservative, with prices potentially reaching the all-time high of $126,000. The bank’s digital asset research head noted recovering spot Bitcoin ETF inflows and low open interest could drive further upside after October 6.

In February, the bank cut its Bitcoin target to $100,000 from $150,000 and Ether’s to $4,000 from $7,500, expecting a dip before a year-end rebound. Recent price action and short liquidations have since shifted sentiment, with some analysts suggesting a bear-market bottom may be near.

Other market observers, including Swan Bitcoin and 10x Research, have also indicated potential for a recovery, though no immediate market reaction was specified in the note.
