The Euro climbed 0.21% to 1.1710 against the US Dollar during European trading on Friday, reaching its highest level in over three months. The move follows a decline in the US Dollar Index, which fell 0.17% to 98.67, nearing a three-month low of 98.56 set the prior day.

The Dollar’s weakness stems from the US Treasury’s bond-buying operations and fading expectations of Federal Reserve rate hikes. Analysts note the EUR/USD pair benefits from a broader, benign Dollar decline, though fiscal policy shifts could further pressure the Greenback.

Market focus remains on Fed policy, with some analysts suggesting potential rate cuts in 2027 could increase Dollar vulnerability.
